Project Manager

JOB OVERVIEW

This highly visible project management role will plan, organize, and direct the completion of specific projects while ensuring these projects are on time, on budget, and within scope. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to envision company needs at a high level while effectively developing an engaging team-oriented attitude and positive inter-departmental relationships.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Includes the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of multiple projects.
• Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
• Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant internal stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
• Ensure resource availability and allocation.
• Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress.
• Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
• Measure performance using appropriate project management tools and techniques.
• Report and escalate to management as needed.
• Manage the relationships with the client, vendor and relevant stakeholders.
• Be part of NPI team to support successful product launches.
• Perform risk management to minimize potential risks.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals.
• Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis.
• Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff members.
• Use and continually develop leadership skills.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree required (Economics / Business / Supply Chain preferred).
• A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
• Six Sigma training (Green or Black Belt strongly preferred).

Requirements

• 7+ years related experience.
• Experience using NetSuite, Netsock, SAP, Epicor or other ERP statistical software packages.
• Advanced Excel experience manipulating spreadsheet data using filters, functions (VLookup, Pivot, etc.) and worksheet formulas.
• Demonstrate strong analytical skills as well as organizational skills with high attention to detail.
• Able to lead and facilitate through influence and expertise under tight time and cost pressures in a matrix environment.
• Ability to effectively manage changing and conflicting priorities and resolve appropriately.
• Highly self-motivated, excels working autonomously and operate effectively in any organizational structure.
